Atlanta, GA – Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-75 Near Pine St
Atlanta, GA (October 10, 2021) – At 9:33 p.m. on the night of Friday, October 8, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 249, Pine Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. This led to delays in the area from the I-20 area.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
